# Guide

This guide aids controllers on TopSky PDC/DCL functions.

When an aircraft requests Pre-Departure Clearance, referred hereafter as PDC, right click on the <kbd style="color:red;">R</kbd>, this will open the DCL menu.

#### Functions
>**A/C** = Aircraft callsign<br>
>**Gate** = Aircraft gate<br>
>**ATYP** = Aircraft type<br>
>**ADES** = Destination<br>
>**ATIS** = ATIS identifier<br>
>**RWY** = Assigned departure runway<br>
>**SID** = Assigned Standard Instrument Departure<br>
>**AHDG** = Assigned heading<br>
>**CFL** = Cleared Flight Level<br>
>**ASSR** = Assigned squawk<br>
>**NFREQ** = Next frequency<br>
>**DFREQ** = Departure frequency<br>
>**RMK** = Remark
<p class="callout info">AHDG is generally not used, it is preferred to give a non-standard departure via voice.<br>NFREQ & DFREQ do not auto-populate, this may change in the future.<br>RMK is used to pass on additional information relevent to a pilots clearance.</p>

When all relevant fileds are populated, click `SEND`, this will send the pilot their PDC.
<p class="callout warning">R/T will reject a DCL request, this will instruct the pilot to revert to voice procedures.</p>
