Transfer and Visiting

1. Purpose 


This policy clarifies and outlines howthe process for managing visiting controllers within Maghreb vACCvACC, manages visitors,both from within and outside of Maghrebthe vACC. It is based on VATSIM-POL-TVCP Ver. 2.0’0 and the VATMENA – Transfer Policy’. AdherencePolicy to thisensure policy ensuresfull compliance with both VATSIM and VATMENA policies.regulations.

2. Structure


Maghreb vACC is a subdivision within VATMENA, that consitsconsisting of 3three FIR:FIRs:

Morroco
    FIR,
  • Morocco FIR
  • Algeria FIR
  • and
  • Tunis FIR.FIR

Each FIR consits ofhas its own training procedures and procedurs.local regulations.

The Training Director oversees all training-related matters and reports onlydirectly to the vACC Director and VATMENA staff.staff.

Visiting Within Maghreb vACC


IfControllers a controller wisheswishing to control in other FIRs within Maghreb vACC, theyvACC will be officially designated as a Visiting Controller. Controllers.

TheTo apply for visiting rights, the controller must submit send an email to training@vatsim.ma. Thewith "Reasonthe forfollowing visiting request" must include:information:

  1. Application text detailing motivation and ability to provide goodquality service to pilotspilots.

Requirements for Visiting Controllers

3.1.1 Requirments For Controllers Withinfrom VATMENA

AnyControllers control who hiswhose home division is within VATMENA willmust requiremeet the following requirments: criteria:

  • Hold thean S2 rating ofor S2higher.
  • Be an Activeactive Controllercontroller.
  • Have a minimum of 50 hours controlling within thetheir home allocationFIR.
  • Have controlled at least 5 hours in the last 6 monthmonths.
  • NotHave have ano disciplinary history within the lastpast year.

If all the above-mentioned criteria are met, the controller may request familiarization training in any desired FIR within Maghreb vACC via the HQ accesablesystem directly(accessible fromthrough our websitewebsite) or via mailemail to the Training Director.Director.

The controller

Controllers will be subjectplaced toin the training queue onunder the same termsconditions as homelocal controllers in the visiting FIR.

3.1.2 Requirments For Controllers from Outside Of VATMENA

3.1.3

The Familiarization/Familiarisation & Training

 Process

The visiting trainee must undergo training for both familiarization with the airport as well as a sweatbox beforeBefore controlling on the network.network, all visiting controllers must complete:

  1. Airport and FIR familiarization training.
  2. A sweatbox training session.

It is the responsibility of the Training Director  to ensure that the traineevisitor has sufficient knowledge of the positionairspace before granting visiting rights.

Training for new ratings can only occur in the Homecontroller’s home FIR.

3.1.4Ongoing RequirmentsRequirements Forfor Visiting Controllers 

All visiting controllers within any FIR covered by Maghreb vACC areFIRs subjectmust tomeet the following ongoing requirements:

  1. 1.    The visitor must perform atAt least half50% of their controlling withinhours must be completed in their Homehome Allocation.

  2. 2.A Theminimum visitor must have at leastof 3 hours eachevery 3 monthmonths ofmust activebe controllingcompleted in the visiting FIR.

  4. The visitor must not perform below the averageexpected levelstandard withinof the visiting FIR or disruptcause disruption to fellow controllers and/or pilots.

If anya ofvisiting controller fails to meet these requirements are not met,, the Training Manager mustwill informissue thea visitorwarning and suggest corrective measures.

  • The visitor must immediately implement these corrective measuresactions immediately.
  • If performance does not improve within 14 days, the Training Director will make a final decision.
  • Failure to meetcomply allmay requirementsresult again. Ifin the visitorremoval fails to performof the correctivevisitor’s measuresendorsement.
  • within
a 14-day period to the mentor satisfaction, the training director will be involved in making a final decision where the controller can loose their endorsment for visiting.
